Dead Money Wins!

We obviously were not there last night to witness it, but word has gotten out that Dead Money has won the summer league championship.  Congrats!  Funny, I couldn't find a picture of the actual celebration, but this team does have orange jerseys...so close enough right??  Looking at the bracket it looks like Doublewide did win the first game at 6 oclock, but Dead Money fought back through the losers bracket to beat them twice in a row in the finals....with the last game being a deciesive 10 run victory.  It seems that Doublewide ran out of gas at the end, while Dead Money must have stayed well hydrated to battle through 4 straight games to win the title sometime around 10 last night.

    Did you get this from the same source as the Star Trib yesterday about Favre retiring? Sounds like it. Maybe your team manager should send out the final standing and really see who was the champion!

    Thought the photo was funny, but when looked closer and noticed the grizzlies first base coach (yeah in the blue shirt) I thought it was hilarious. :)

    A friend always joked "she ain't a lady if she ain't 280" and she is a lady for sure!! Plus we didn't play in the final game... so I think the blue beauty would be Doublewide's base coach?
