Week 1 Scores

The first week of fall ball was interesting, but unfortunatly we were not able to unleash our fury onto Cargil Dow since mother nature unleashed her fury onto us in the form of torental rains and lighting strikes.  No word as to when our game will  be made up.  The fall season is usally more competitive since the most dysfunctional teams drop off the map after the summer league, and that can be seen by the current champs getting knocked of in game against JJ's.

  1. JJ's isn't very good. Just don't let their left-fielder hit with guys on base. He had 2 homeruns for 6 or 7 RBIs. Otherwise you should be able to handle them easily. In addition, the fact that we were able to lose by only 2 runs with our "B" lineup that we are putting out there for Tuesday nights this fall says alot too about the competitiveness of Fall Ball. Dirty Grizz should be the favorites if you are using the same lineup as summer.

  4. I assume Mark Brooks is on your "B" lineup?

  5. No...it's "B" due to there being 5 guys that didn't play (much, or at all) this summer, and all but maybe 2 players fielding their normal position. All the regulars are playing Thursday. We'll keep an eye out for Nelly. Is he wearing a fashionable band-aid?

  6. "Anonymous" is obviously still mad about losing the championship.
